When Colin and the Elite Eight saw Avici was approaching them with a sword in his hands, they prepared to stop him.
However, Nathan instructed calmly, "Did this man incapacitate Mr. Lane? Don't stop him; let him come!”
They backed off immediately.
Avici sneered at Nathan, "You're the most arrogant man I've ever seen. I hope you have the skills to match your confidence."
Right after that, he moved in at breakneck speed.
Avici appeared before Nathan in a flash before anyone had the chance to blink. He held his thin sword that resembled a lightning bolt and thrust it at the General's neck.
Nathan sidestepped and dodged the attack nimbly. The sword impaled one of the thick pillars in the living room.
Boom! With a flick of his wrist, Avici broke the pillar into two using his sword.
He then pounced toward Nathan again like a venomous snake to its prey.
The latter dodged the attack casually, like a walk in the park.
Avici's attacks were as relentless as a waterfall. In a blink of an eye, he launched ten attacks on Nathan.
On the other hand, Nathan was just as poised as ever as he took minuscule steps to render the onslaughts ineffective.
He said nonchalantly, "I heard you are as scary as hell itself and you have slain countless enemies, but quite frankly, I'm quite disappointed in what I'm seeing.”
Disappointed!
Everyone gaped in shock when they heard Nathan's evaluation of Avici.
The latter was utterly infuriated by Nathan. He flicked his wrist and his sharp blade morphed into a mirage of countless swords. They looked just like silver snakes. It was impossible to tell the real ones from the fake ones.
The swords descended upon Nathan, before merging to become a singular sword.
It sliced through the air as it came flying toward Nathan.
When Werner Lupin and the rest saw Avici using his trump card, they couldn't help but cheer.
On the other hand, Xander Lane, Julia Lane, Rebecca Owens, and the rest all expressed concern because they were worried that Nathan couldn't handle the powerful attack.
Nathan flicked a finger casually, and the sword shattered like glass.
