Facing Earl's expectant eyes and Sylvester’s own piercing ones, I fumbled over my words for a moment.
Clearing my throat, I looked around again before pursing my lips and smiling politely. "Astral Garden is indeed in a much better location compared to North Courts, but in terms of development potential, North Courts’ is greater. What do you think, Earl?”
Knowing that Earl already had a plan in mind, I did not offer too much so as not to overwhelm the host.
A bright smile appeared on Earl's face with strong features. "You’re right, Miss Wanda. I’m sure you understand as well, President Yard.”
Sylvester only came back to his senses after being referred to all of a sudden. "Sir, you..."
"I’ve already had a look at the place. I'll think about it when I get back. I still have matters to attend to, so I shall take my leave now,” Earl said to Sylvester.
Sylvester nodded. "Okay, I'll be waiting to hear from you.”
He stood there watching Earl leave while I stood beside him and smiled. "No news is the best news. Trust me."
"What secret signal did you make to Earl just now?" Sylvester looked at me, expression stern and tone solemn.
I shrugged my shoulders and shook my head. "If you think I gave him some secret signal, then your reputation is about to hit rock bottom, President Yard. Think about it." I smiled slowly and followed Earl.
Earl looked back at Astral Garden before getting into the car and then turned to me. "Miss Wanda, what are your thoughts on the design for Astral Garden?"
"I can't find any faults with it, but I can see that the designer's ideas are conventional and nothing new. I should think that this is the reason you’re not interested in it, Sir," I expressed slowly.
He nodded and smiled. "That's right. You truly do understand my point better, Miss Wanda. It seems that our partnership on North Courts is certain.”
"If you buy North Courts, you and your company will get to decide on its development when the time comes. You can also buy the land near North Courts. Once development is complete, the North Courts area will definitely become the most prosperous in Whaldorf City.”
“Miss Wanda, you sure do have a way with words. Here’s to a pleasant partnership.”
