Nibel stood at the door with his hands in his pockets as he smiled at me brightly.
Theo got up and stood beside me when he saw him. "Why is he here?"
"He said he would come before this but only just arrived. He said he has something to discuss with you," I replied to him softly.
Nibel approached us quietly, a natural and harmless smile upon his exquisite features. "I'm late."
I nodded and smiled. "Yes, your former partner has already been taken away."
Hearing this, the smile on Nibel’s lips deepened before he looked toward Theo. "President Grant, I've been looking forward to meeting you for a long time." He extended his hand to express his friendliness.
Theo looked at me, and I nodded at him. Only then did he reach out to grip Nibel's outstretched hand. "You’re the one who’s of renowned repute, Mr. Nibel. I didn't expect you to be so good at Hattonese."
"I’d naturally have to be able to speak the language well if I want to develop in Hatton," Nibel implied.
I smiled. “I have to thank you for your help this time, Mr. Nibel.”
“You’re welcome. I only did it out of self-interest. I thought it’d be much easier to discuss cooperation with you once I helped Miss Wanda.”
Nibel wanted to work with Theo?
I frowned. Just what was his plan?
Theo was still as calm as ever. He just smiled. "You have plenty of investment projects under your belt, Mr. Nibel. Of course, I’m willing to partner up with you. I don’t know what your project is, however?"
Nibel glanced at me first before saying, "I want to participate in the development of Grant Corporation’s new skincare line. Are you willing to allow that, President Grant?"
"As far as I know, you’ve never invested in this industry, Mr. Nibel. I do wonder what your thoughts are to have approached me to discuss this time."
"My reason is simple. Naturally, it’s because Grant Corporation has the qualifications and potential. I’m optimistic about this new line of skin care products and thus would like to be involved. Though, I wonder if you would allow me to indulge that, President Grant.”
