Sharon bent down to hug her daughter while caressing her face. "Have you waited long?"

"No, Uncle has been accompanying us all this time, we didn't wait long."

In the past, Liam had always wanted to see the children, but Sharon had never allowed him to do so. Thus, the children hadn't been able to meet Liam very often; they met fewer times than the fingers on one hand.
