The man laughed coldly. "Did you know I'd be waiting?"
Sabrina was speechless.
She had not had any such thoughts.
She had just been nervous, not knowing how he would deal with her. There was no point running away. She had seen firsthand a few days ago how this man dealt with his enemies. No matter where she fled to, she knew that after a while, Sebastian would find her.
Unless she had a meticulous plan.
If she could not run, she might as well face him.
At the very least, Aunt Grace still needed her. 1
She had simply wanted to steady herself before talking.
That was what Sabrina had been thinking.
Seeing her speechless, Sebastian looked on at her, his eyes containing a malicious glint. "You pretended to b e honest, then pretended to be pitiful, all to earn my trust before you dealt with Selene? Your acting skills are really top notch, even Selene can't compete with you. Her envy toward you is all surface level, just the whims of a little girl. Yet you, on the other hand, have such elaborate plans and schemes!” 1
Sabrina let out an empty and emotionless laugh. " That's right, ever since Mr Ford’s banquet, I've been honest with you. I grew close with Aunt Grace to seduce you. The child in my belly, I wanted to rely on you for it as well. Had I not admitted to everything before? Mr Ford, what exactly have I been unclear about that needs clarification?"
Sebastian was speechless.
He had no way to retort.
She had, in fact, confessed everything to him. It was after she confessed that he had started to treat her better.
Following a brief pause, Sebastian continued, his voice cold and bitter. "Then you should remember what I told you?"
