Marcus asked in confusion, "But what?"
Sebastian did not answer his question. "Let’s go up first."
Marcus then followed Sebastian and went upstairs.
In the large living room, Yvonne, Ruth, Ryan, Jane, and Alex were sitting there.
When he saw Marcus entering, Ryan immediately jumped up. He ran and came to the front of Marcus, and then grabbed him by the collar. "Marcus! Your family, the Shaw's, are too inhuman!"
After saying that, he punched Marcus.
Marcus did not resist.
He glanced at everyone, then fixed his gaze on Yvonne. "How is Sabrina now?"
"Fever, talking nonsense sometimes, constantly shouting 'Mom'. Sometimes she will curl up into a ball in fear and kept shouting 'don't harvest my kidneys, don’t!’"
When he heard Yvonne saying this, Marcus, a big man, also feared up.
"Take me to see her," Marcus said.
Yvonne then led Marcus to the outside of the bedroom.
Standing outside the door, Marcus took a look.
That girl was lying in the large bed, and she was covered by a blanket, which made her appear to be incomparably thin. Only a miserably pale face was showing outside the blanket.
She was asleep.
She looked very quiet.
However, her eyebrows were tightly furrowed.
She was lying by herself on such a large bed, which made her appear to be all alone and very desolate.
This made Marcus cannot help but recall the first time when he saw her six years ago.
She had been just as lonely and helpless, and was living in this city. Like a joke and plaything, she was kicked around like a ball by this city's high society.
In the end, they even attacked her reputation.
However, she was a young lady from a passive environment, but she indomitably survived.
