Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 104

She only had herself to rely on.

Sabrina had already thought it through last night. To protect herself and the child in her belly, anyone who would approach her, intent on harming her, would be met with death by that brick.

It had definitely been useful, seeing as she had successfully scared Selene away.

Sabrina threw the brick aside.

It would no longer be effective now that she had revealed it. Anyway, she still had other things in her bag to protect herself with.

Watching as Selene ran off in the distance, Sabrina headed in to work at the site.

Following an entire day of laboring, Sabrina found that she was not that tired. Instead, she found working here much more relaxing than the office, where she always had to be on edge, worrying about being discharged.

Working at the construction site was dirtier and more labor intensive, but at least it didn't exhaust her heart.

Furthermore, there was a wide variety of food in the canteen, so she could stuff herself with good food.

After getting off work, Sabrina waited at the bus stop. As it was a rural area, she would have to wait up to

half an hour for the bus. She had wanted to visit Aunt Grace earlier to check if the fever had subsided...

Anxious, she glanced constantly at where she knew the bus would arrive.

The bus was not there, but Sabrina noticed someone else.

She wore a cold smile on her face as she asked, "Your daughter threatened me in the morning, and now it's your turn. Uncle Lynn, I just want to ask, what exactly do I owe your family? Why do you want to kill me so much?"
