"Nine years ago, your daughter Selene was drinking with a bunch of men in a bar and got drunk. She was then carried into some filthy hotel by a man in his forties," Sebastian said in a chilling voice.
Lincoln's face became bright red.
"By the time your daughter Selene woke up, that old man had already had his way with her. That was her first time with a man, so she was mad with rage and there was a dagger on the table. It had been the same dagger that the old guy used to threaten Selene with, but in the end, it became the weapon Selene used to kill him. After that, she was horrified by the thought o f ending up in jail or dying, so you people schemed and had Sabrina replace her! You spent quite a lot of money on this so everything was perfect, but Lincoln, forged means forged! It has been nine years since that incident, and Sabrina had served her time in prison, s o I didn't want to stir things up again. But now, you pushed your way against Sabrina over and over again. You teamed up with old Master Shaw and wouldn't rest until you forced Sabrina into handing over her kidneys! Which is why I did not rest for the past four days, and gathered up the owners of the hotel and the bar, along with all those people that Selene drank with back then. I even went and found the videos they took! All of them can paint us the full picture of the truth!"
Lincoln was as white as a ghost at this point.
"Also!" Sebastain abruptly turned his face to stare at the victim's family who called Sabrina a murderer.
The woman started to back off little by little, all the while mumbling, "It's not me, it's not my fault..."
"Stay right there!" The two officers realized that something was off, and swiftly grabbed onto the woman's arm. "Spill! Where did you come from? Are you really the family of the victim? If not, where did you get the victim's identification card, passport and other documents? Speak!"
Frightened, the woman broke down into tears. "I..."
"Refuse to explain and your action will be viewed as a crime!"
"I will, I will tell you!" she cried. "It's...it's old Master Shaw, he...he paid me. All those documents I have were given by him. He only told me that I need to act..."
Sebastian, Sabrina and Marcus were all rendered speechless.
Sabrina’s mother took two long strides towards the old Master Shaw and roared, "Old bast*rd! You old bast *rd! OLD BAST*RD! Go to hell!"
She raised her arm as though to hit him, but it froze in the air for a moment before falling back down. She grinned with resignation. "Hitting you...is below me."
"My...my dau-" he stuttered.
"I'll say this again! I am not related to the Shaw Family in any way! I am just a stray that lives in the sewers! The ones that are related to you are the Lynns, it's Selene Lynn!"
Sebastian, too, stepped towards the old Master Shaw. I n an emotionless tone, he said, "Old man, ever since the day you told me that an older man is a wiser man, I started planning my counter-move."
Old Master Shaw stayed silent.
"Because I know that a man as intelligent as you wouldn't leave us alone. You must have your own set o f plans and the first step of it was to contact the media, so that I would think that you were trying to expose us through them. I know you and your personality, old man, so I know that there's nothing too despicable when it comes to wars! That's something that I learnt from you, which is why I knew that all those reporters you gathered were nothing but a decoy. Your real intention is to let everyone know that Sabrina and Selene are biological sisters, before sending her back into prison with all the evidence you have gathered about the incident years ago. The best outcome would be for Sabrina to face the death sentence! And that would sum up your grand plan!"
The old Master Shaw slowly closed his eyes, as his tears came streaming down his face. No one could tell what was on his mind, when he heard Sebastian say," Old man, shouldn't we call your action towards Sabrina a betrayal to your own blood?"
