Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 1079

However, Sebastian did not mention a word about the Shaws. The mentioning of Sabrina's wrongful imprisonment and the issues with her identification along with Aino's had finally convinced the woman. She nodded sternly before looking over to the old Master Shaw and Marcus again. "But I am...really not related to them. Please would like for them to leave m y daughter alone from now on. Otherwise I would tear them apart even if I have nothing but my teeth left on me."

"Auntie..." Tears started welling up in Marcus's eyes again. The man in his thirties, well-dressed in a suit with the perfect image of a gentleman broke down in tears at that very moment. He looked at Sabrina's mother and pleaded, "Auntie, I have always thought of you as family. I recognized you as soon as you showed up just now, even with most of your face covered by your hair, but your eyes resemble Sabrina's so much. Ever since I saw Sabrina for the first time six years ago, I've told her that she looked like my aunt, Auntie."

At that point, even the old Master Shaw was dumbfounded by the situation.

Sabrina's mother, however, remained unmoving. "I'm sorry, but can you please stop interfering with my life and my daughter's as well? I'm very sorry that your family has lost a member, but didn't someone already come forth as your relatives? Haven't the Lynn Family

been acknowledged as a part of your family for about six to seven years by now? If there's already someone t o fill the void, what else are you asking for?"

"That's not the same! It's a mistake, Auntie!" Marcus looked at his aunt, feeling as though his heart had been torn apart. After all, the Shaw Family had spent every last strand of manpower and wealth over the years in search for his aunt. It had been over a decade and they had finally found her, but she didn't want anything to do with them. Who could have accepted it?

"How is it different?" The stray woman's voice grew even hoarser by the minute. "You lost a family member, didn't you?"

Marcus nodded. "A very close member!"

"If that's really the case, why did your aunt run away from home?"

He glanced over at his grandfather, while the old Master Shaw lowered his gaze and sighed. The elderly knew that he had no right to stand before the stray woman.

"An eighteen-year-old girl, who would rather stray and live in the sewers than to go home, that's enough to explain how little she felt connected to that family. Ever since she was lost, you have looked for her everywhere, but that's just so that you could have a peace of mind from the guilt you feel deep within your soul. Since the Lynn Family and Selene Lynn came and provided you with that comfort, what else do you want?"

Both Marcus and the old Master Shaw were rendered speechless.

Though the stray woman was ragged and covered in dirt, her logic in her speech was organized and she was overall extremely calm. At that very moment, Sebastian came to realize just how alike Sabrina was t o her mother. Their similarities were not limited to their looks, but their personalities as well. Sabrina, too, was a logical woman who could remain composed regardless of circumstances. He glanced over at the old Master Shaw and Marcus in their complete states o f helplessness, and shook his head slightly, hinting at them to not push the woman too far. He then turned back to the stray woman and said, "Okay, Mom, we won't let them follow."

The woman nodded and followed Sabrina and Sebastian into the car driven by Kingston and went straight to the closest hotel.

It wasn't until the car was out of sight that the old Master Shaw cried. "My daughter...!"
