No one could understand how he felt.
The one who fooled him should be his enemy, but he loved her like his own for six years.
And yet, he treated the one who should be his own relative like dirt, stepping on her the whole time.
How could calm his heart down? 1
Looking at how Old Master Shaw cried, no one in the restaurant seemed to care.
A few of the employees were pointing and whispering behind his back. "I knew it, Old Master Shaw deserves everything!"
"He didn't want his own granddaughter and daughter, but he helped someone else harm them instead. Ha, what an amazing feat."
"Look at him cry, how pitiful is he?"
"What's there to pity?! He looks so dignified, but he is just scum!”
"He really was too fixated with his image. For the sake of his justice, his nobility and his honor, for the sake o f the wife he says he loves. In truth, the ones that he harmed were just helpless women and their children!"
"He even treated his own child so heartlessly! What an animal!”
"Damn! Why doesn't he just die! He even got to live until such a ripe old age, and is so respected!"
"If I had a father or grandfather like that, I would really be terrified!"
Hearing the criticisms of the employees there, Old Master Shaw’s heart froze.
His whole body was trembling, like a wilting leaf in the winds.
