Marcus and Old Master Shaw both turned around.
They saw Gloria holding a walking stick, dressed in a black raincoat as she angrily glared at Old Master Shaw.
The old man's voice trembled. "My daughter...”
Gloria clenched her teeth and said, "Do you not understand my words? I was already very courteous to you yesterday. I've tolerated you over and over again. For what you did to my mother and me, I had wanted your life. However, your blood flows within me, so I can't do that!
"I let you off easy, but you seem to be taking advantage of that!"
Old Master Shaw replied, "I just wanted to see your mother..."
"She doesn’t need you!” Gloria clenched her teeth as her tears flowed. "When she was still alive, when she saved you, when she was held captive by you, when she gave birth to me for the sake of her life, those were the times she needed you the most. You never showed any love for your savior then, so there’s no need to now!
"Get lost!
"Get lost right now! If you don't, don't blame me for
killing my own father!"
Hearing Gloria's words, Old Master Shaw actually smiled. "Gloria, you're actually willing to admit that I'm your father now?"
Gloria replied, "That's something that has brought me endless pain and suffering! If I had a choice, I'd have just died in my womb. I am ashamed that I even share the same blood as you!"
Old Master Shaw humbled himself incredibly. "Gloria, you’re right. I shouldn’t have come here.
"I won’t come here anymore, I won’t make her unhappy anymore, and you as well. I'm thinking about leaving some assets for you, allowing you to live the rest of your life without worry. You won't have to purely rely on Sabbie...”
"Get lost! Go away! Now!” Gloria waved her stick around.
Old Master Shaw fled in haste.
In his entire life, Old Master Shaw had always had a dignified presence. When had he ever been bullied to such a degree before?
