Another person smiled and laughed. "Maybe her soul will be able to leave. As for her flesh and bones, we probably won’t see that again."
Lily acted like she did not understand.
She calmly walked inside.
It was full of smoke inside.
It was even more bloody and intense than she imagined.
There were many rough and uncouth men who looked like Neanderthals.
They looked at Lily as if they were looking at prey.
Lily ignored them.
She casually started drinking inside.
She even drank like a despot.
She drank like she did not have to pay for the alcohol, and even flipped someone else's table.
Suddenly, almost a hundred rough and burly men burst into the bar, and surrounded Lily closely.
Lily did not even bother looking at those men.
She merely continued drinking with a contemptuous gaze in a casual manner.
She drank herself silly.
A few seconds later, the entire bar was surrounded.
Those people seemed to have popped out of nowhere.
They were all sent by Alex to protect Lily.
Lily had been unbelievably happy.
After turning the bar upside down, she had left the place unharmed. The one that was harmed was instead the bar.
Because she had drunk the best of alcohol worth at least four to five hundred thousand and did not pay a single cent.
Not only that, the bar had to nod and bow as they politely sent her out.
Lily felt incredibly satisfied at that moment.
Not only that, she had made sure that her boyfriend, who was back in the country, her childhood sweetheart, still cared about her, and treated her like his treasure. 2
So, no matter where Lily went, no matter how long she had not seen Alex, Alex’s heart still belonged to her.
