His features were sharp and defined, beneath the warm contours of his face lay an ice-cold man. And he was a very capable man, claiming his throne as the top dog of Kidon City. Lily Parker would never hand over such an excellent man to another woman!
With the help of two caretakers, they helped Alex into the car and Lily drove him directly back to the summer house. Together with the help of the servants, Lily supported Alex into the house and onto his bed. Only then, did she look at the man she brought home.
She said in a pitiful tone, as if she felt bad for herself." You can only see how nice I am now! When you're drunk and unconscious, I am the woman who is beside you! It's me, do you know that! Where is Jane? Why isn't she here to take care of you! Get up, turn over, I'll take off your shoes for you!” Lily flipped Alex over with rough, big, movements. 1
Alex slept sweetly and soundly, but he kept muttering, "Jane...Jane...Jane, where are you? What will you do when you run out of money? You're so stupid, you'll be bullied the moment you leave the house. Jane, why are you so disobedient? You've been gone for half a month and still don’t want to come home... Jane you stupid woman, how can you just up and leave? Did you know that your friend...your friend Sabrina, she questioned me, blamed me, asking me where you were? What should I say to her? You stupid woman,
seeing as you got yourself a friend like Sabrina, you're not that stupid after all."
Lily fumed. A moment later, she screamed in rage," Alex Poole! YOU! CAN! DROP! DEAD!" With that, she turned and stomped out of the room! With a furious expression, she ran straight out of the courtyard and into her car, driving away in a plume of smoke.
She wandered around the city aimlessly, searching all over town. She had decided, if she saw Jane, she would immediately kill her! Half a month ago, on top o f the mountain, she should not have left her alive! She should have pushed her down the cliff!
Lily drove on the streets for a few hours, looking for Jane. Until the sky darkened, she had not caught a simple glimpse of her.
The night deepened. Lily drove to a nearby pub and entered it. When she lived abroad, she was a regular at various bars. In whichever bar she frequented, no one dared disrespect her, so she was used to getting her way. And today was no exception.
Even though she had just gotten into an argument with Alex, she did not believe he would leave her here alone if she stirred up trouble here.
"Bring me the best wine you have!" After entering the pub, Lily slammed her car keys on the table with a loud thump.
The bartender did not dare dawdle. He immediately brought her the best and most expensive wine on the
menu.
Downing cup after cup, she did not forget to scold and curse at Jane at the same time. "That damn Jane Sheen! Sooner or later, I'll find you! No matter which nook or cranny you hide in, you can't hide from me! And you, Sabrina Scott! You interfering b*tch! You should just mess up your own city, why would you come and mess up mine? Alex Poole belongs to me! To me! Any woman who tries to steal my man has no other future except death! Sabrina, you deserve to die the most! You damn woman, you think just because you married Sebastian, you can support Jane? You dared to put your hands on me! Excellent! Sooner or later, I, Lily Parker, will show you how vicious I can be! Sabrina Scott, you damn b*tch! Just you wait!” 1
Toward the end, the person Lily kept scolding was Sabrina. Because scolding Jane was meaningless and boring, she was a weak, helpless woman. But Sabrina was different. Today was the first time they met and yet Sabrina already gathered three or four women to beat her up until she was covered in bruises. How could she not hate her!
"How did Sabrina wrong you? Why would you curse her out like this!" Suddenly, a feminine male voice said coldly.
