Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 1187

And how he dragged Sabrina out of prison, used her, caused her to later become pregnant and tried to kill her every time he had the chance. The entire process had been like the side effect of the medication Selene was taking, a nightmare. No decent person would have done the same to a young girl even if they were not at all related. Yet as a father, Lincoln had harmed his own daughter to such an extent. There truly was n o other like him! Lincoln wailed miserably behind her and turned in an attempt to run into the wall, but was stopped by two supervisors behind him. One of them said with no mercy, "Mr. Lynn, you have no right to die here. Please don't try to give us any trouble."

"Let me die, let me die...!" He shouted, "I can only repent for what I did with death."

"I'm sorry, but you don't have the right to announce your own death sentence."

"Ah...!" He screamed, so loud that even Sabrina, who was by the gate could hear him.

She had been in tears by that point, and Marcus was overwhelmed by guilt. He lowered his voice. "Sabbie, I...I have been too shallow. I thought you would feel happy seeing them like that, after all..."

Sabrina did not respond. She did not say a word, but continued to sob. Neither did she know why she was crying. Was it for her unfortunate childhood? Her

unfortunate adolescence? The fact that she had a father like that? Or that she ended up witnessing all the sins and disgusting truth of humanity in the world? She had no idea. She could simply sob in silence on their way back.

Marcus's guilt grew. "I'm sorry, Sabrina..." He had been too shallow. He couldn't even decide what he should say to make up for what he did.

Right before they got out of the car, Sabrina wiped away her tears and forced a smile as she looked over t o Marcus. "Thank you, Cousin Marcus, I know that you meant well. I do. I used to hate them so much, so much so that I dreamt of killing them myself. I wished that they would suffer an ending that would make me feel better every single day and now I did. Thank you."

"I won't ever take you to see them again." He paused and continued, "Neither will I force you into seeing my grandfather. You were right, you and my aunt. The two of you don't have anything to do with my grandfather."

After this trip to seeing the Lynn Family, Marcus had come to a certain realization. If they really felt like they owed Sabrina something, then they should let her and her mother live their lives happily with no emotional burden. That would be the best way to compensate the two.

"Thank you, Cousin Marcus." She nodded and paused, then smiled sweetly. "You are the one who pays me, so I should be getting my salary without working. Shall 1 go back to work?" "Then tomorrow..." he asked carefully.
