Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 1232

The four men looked towards the door at the same time, and they saw a gentle and elegant woman walking, holding a child by the hand.

"Sebastian." Sabrina smiled. "I thought I could come here earlier after picking Aino up, but I was caught up with some things at the kindergarten, so I came late."

Sabrina had agreed with Sebastian that he would come to the clubhouse first, and Sabrina would come later after she had picked Aino up after work. Though she had gone straight to the kindergarten after work, she was still slightly late and just so happened to be caught in the peak period of everybody picking up their children. Sabrina was then surrounded by a few parents.

"Mrs Ford, I've not seen you for a long time. What have you been busy with lately?" Susan's mother, Mrs Sear, was the most enthusiastic with Sabrina. She had always felt that she was very close to Sabrina. In fact, ever since Sabrina's identity as Mrs Ford had been made known to the public, Sabrina had been doing her best to stay away from places like this that are a hotbed for trouble to avoid necessary issues. However, she still met Mrs Sear today.

Susan and Aino have a good relationship, so for the sake of Susan, Sabrina still politely greeted Mrs Sear." Long time no see, Mrs Sear."

"That's right, Mrs Ford. They have been asking me why I have not been hanging out with you recently and so on. I told them that you have been busy. When you're free, you will definitely come to the kindergarten to pick up your child, won't you? You see, Mrs Ford, ever since that incident at the banquet hall, you have left the chat group."

Mrs Sear glanced at a few other women who were desperately hoping to build a connection with Sabrina. "They really wanted you to join the group because you have the best taste in fashion amongst u s. You also have the best figure, so everyone has been treating you as their fashion inspiration.”

Sabrina was speechless. She could tell from their tone that they were trying to flatter her. Sabrina had never liked others flattering her.

She politely rejected. "I’m sorry, I think it’s enough for us to have the kindergarten’s official group chat. I am usually very busy as well, so I am not free to join so many groups.”

Just as they wanted to say something, another woman came out of the kindergarten while holding a little girl. She seemed very capable. She wore a loose-fitting pure white blouse and a pencil skirt. She has a good figure and did not drag her feet when she walked. She did not seem like a wealthy housewife, rather, she seemed like a working woman.

When she saw Sabrina speaking to the wealthy housewives, the woman was first startled, then she held the little girl's hand and left.

"Mom, Mrs Sears said to not let Susan and Aino play with me. She said I'm an illegitimate child.” The little girl saw Susan and Aino playing while squatting by the car, and she looked at her mother with a longing gaze.

The working woman patiently said, "Baby, there are many other kids in the kindergarten. It's not necessary for you to play with those two. Baby, let's go, follow Mommy home.”

The little girl cried.

As Mrs Sear was looking at them, she instantly whispered to Sabrina, "This woman is new here. She usually pulls a long face and ignores us when we speak to her. We thought she was someone important, but who knew? She had a premarital pregnancy, and she is just a white-collar worker.”

Mrs. Sears then laughed uncomfortably. "Mrs Ford, her situation now is different from yours back then. W e were actually very friendly to her and have taken the initiative to help her and so on. However, she just doesn't appreciate it and is not sociable. Therefore, we have no other way, we could only..."

Sabrina pursed her lips and smiled. Single mother. Premarital pregnancy. Had she not had such an experience? The current society was very diversified. Sabrina was not the only single mother in this world. This woman before their eyes was also not the only one, there were many of them in the world. However, even so, others still view single mothers with prejudice.

Sabrina once had the same experience, so she could understand single mothers for being aloof and unsociable.
