Therefore, when he cared for Gloria, there was not the slightest bit of conflict at all. He was even more affectionate than Sabrina.
After finishing their breakfast, the family bought a trunk full of gifts from the grocery store nearby, and then they drove to Gloria's place. Located in a quiet place downtown, the small courtyard had originally been worn down. After it had been repaired by Marcus, the place then appeared livelier. Lively and quaint.
Last week, Sebastian had ordered eighteen million dollars worth of furniture to be placed in this vintage room. With those paintings of apple trees left behind b y the late Goldie, even Sabrina was stunned by what she saw.
"Mom! My grandma’s paintings are unexpectedly so beautiful and so artistic?”
Gloria smiled with pride. "Your grandma devoted her whole life to painting apple trees. She had painted it all her life, but no one appreciated her."
Sabrina said, "Mom...don’t be sad. Grandma's spirit will cry if she sees you being sad from the heavens."
Gloria nodded and then smiled again. "These are all reframed by Marcus and were just sent over this week. These paintings of apple trees and this
furniture are truly complementing each other. With these two items being placed in the house, they immediately enhanced the house and made it more elegant."
Sabrina could also see it. "Yes, Mom. It's great!”
"This week, there are clearly many parents who heard my reputation and they want to send their children here to learn piano from me. I'll select about three students with potential, and I won't be charging any fees. The purpose is just to make my little place joyful. What do you think?”
“That's certainly the best, Mom." Sabrina was very supportive of her mother's plan. This way, her mother could then enrich her own life. Her mother was only i n her early fifties this year, so her life should not be drab.
"Are those the children that you liked?" asked Sabrina.
Her mother nodded. "Certainly. They are all good students with potential for learning piano."
"It's most important that you like them."
Her mother then added, "One of the parents even introduced me to a senior citizen dance group and asked me if I would like to join when I have time."
