"I guarantee Marcus only has two relatives, one of them is Ruth, and the other one is Sabrina," Ryan said without thinking much.
"Cheesy!" Sabrina pretended to be angry.
"Aunt Sabrina, I am your superior. Are you not going t o work now?" Ryan asked with a grin. Only then Sabrina realized she was late today.
She immediately got in the elevator. Right at the moment when the elevator door closed, Sabrina wanted to confirm again. "Are you sure Marcus doesn't have any other relatives?"
"Absolutely certain!" Ryan said. Sabrina then felt relieved. She thought to herself that perhaps it was just a coincidence. After all, there are many people with their last name as Shaw.
After thinking that way, Sabrina did not bother herself about this matter anymore. When she was working, she was still as serious and diligent. After work, she still went to pick Aino up. Sabrina was rushing her work these few days because she wanted to make up for the previously delayed work, so she had been sending Aino off to the kindergarten earlier than usual. Therefore, throughout the entire week, Sabrina had not met Jennifer's mother at all when she dropped Aino off.
Sabrina had gradually forgotten about her. Anyway, it was not a big deal in her life, and that person was only an aloof and straightforward woman. In a blink of an eye, one week had flown by.
Yvonne suggested a picnic during the weekend. Ryan happened to be in South City so he excitedly supported the idea. Ruth was also cheered and jumped for joy. However, Sabrina looked apologetically at her two best girl-friends.
"I can't. Why don't we change it to the week after next? My mom has been busy these two weeks with joining the senior citizen dance group. You also know that my mom knows how to play the piano and she knows how to draw a little as well, but she truly doesn't know how to dance. However, my mom wants to join in the fun, so whenever I have a little free time, I will accompany my mom to practice to help boost her confidence," said Sabrina with a smile.
Her mother had not lived a very good life in her life. Having lived till this age, Sabrina was very supportive of her mother when she wanted to enrich her life.
"Then we’ll not go over this week. I will spend some alone time with Ryan at home," said Ruth.
Yvonne also shrugged. "I won’t be going too. I will stay at home to accompany my mom and knit a sweater."
