"Mommy, wait.” The little girl stood up and hopped back to her princess-style bedroom, took a polka-dotted bow, and handed it to her.
"Mommy, tie your hair up into a bun." Sabrina listened to her daughter and obediently tied her hair up into a half-bun. Now, she looked even more like a teenaged, high school student.
Aino was extremely satisfied with her mother's style.
However, Sabrina herself felt that she was dressed too casually. But still, she did not change because today her bones felt as if they were barely hanging from their sockets.
After breakfast, as usual, Kingston picked up the family. When they drove Aino to kindergarten, Sabrina did not see Lori, but that was nothing out of the ordinary. Maybe she felt ashamed and transferred her daughter to another school.
After entrusting her daughter to her teacher, Sabrina climbed back into her car and headed for her office.
When they arrived at her office, she was just in time. She stepped out and bid farewell to her husband." Sebastian, bye-bye." Then, Kingston drove Sebastian t o the Ford Group.
Sabrina held her bag and looked at the time on her phone. Her head lowered as she walked further in.
Before she could enter the elevators, she heard someone call out to her, "Sabrina!" That voice sounded shocked, full of disbelief.
Sabrina turned and saw Marcus who was standing four or five meters away from the elevators, right beside the main entrance to the building.
"Marcus?" Sabrina called out to him.
"When you just walked in, I couldn’t even recognize you. It took me a few more glances to recognize you." A s he spoke, he arrived in front of her.
"Marcus, you...”
"I was waiting for you,” Marcus said.
