Holden was dumbfounded. Then he looked at Sabrina with an expression of utter love and devotion. "She and her mother are trying to trick you! Why would you be so stupid and come here?"
Sabrina's eyes turned red with unshed tears. "Go! Go now!"
Holden:
"Leave!" Sabrina roared with fury.
She saw the two security guards holding the lock and was about to lock the main doors, so she dashed to them as fast as she could and pushed the both of them down to the ground.
Then she shouted in Holden’s direction. "You! Payne! Leave, right now! Now!!"
Payne was not an idiot. He did not linger and, instead, he turned and ran. When he reached the entrance, he turned back suddenly and tugged Sabrina into his arms. He planted a kiss on the crown of her head, then bolted out of the doors.
Sabrina:
Within a minute, police patrol cars arrived at the hotel. The crowd which had been hiding stood up immediately.
Lori stood up too, still looking flustered. Beside her,
the simp who had been badly beaten by Holden lay on the floor.
Now that Holden was gone, Lori was not afraid anymore. She pointed at Sabrina and shouted, "You're his accomplice!"
In a fit of rage, Sean questioned Sabrina too. "What... What's going on? It's not enough that one of your lovers came, but another one had to appear too?"
"Sean." By then, Sabrina had regained her composure.
She looked at Lori and the half-dead man on the floor. "Didn't you see? Lori was the one who summoned this man."
"No!" Lori refuted immediately. "If I was the one who summoned him. He wouldn't protect me at the crucial point in time, so doing so would only harm me! Sabrina, you're a master at manipulating men. I underestimated you."
