Zayn was incomparably emotional. "Nigel...it's been such a long time. You've changed so much.”
Three months ago, Nigel had spoken with Zayn on the phone in close proximity, but he did not see him. This was the first time both Zayn and Nigel met each other i n the past seven years.
"Do you blame me?" Zayn asked Nigel.
Nigel frowned at him. "What for?"
Zayn glanced over at Sabrina, Aino, and Sebastian, who were sitting together on the couch. Sabrina had a gentle expression. Aino, on the other hand, was watching the three men standing by the door with her little eyes. She knew all three of them. They seemed to be quite close to her mother. Besides, only her mother and herself were ladies in this private room.
They were her beloved uncle, her father's cousin, one o f them that seemed like her mother’s fan, as well as her dad....
Oh! Aino sneakily glanced at her dad. Her dad looked quite calm. Aino then looked at the two men who were conversing by the door. She was certain that her Uncle Zayn had never met Uncle Nigel. Her Uncle Zayn has been with her since the day she was born and he had never met Uncle Nigel. How was it that the both of them seemed to be old acquaintances now?
Aino was very curious, so she kept staring at the two o f them.
Nigel hugged Zayn very tightly. "Zayn, if I had to name a friend that I missed the most in my life, then it would be you. However, I still think it can't possibly be you when Marcus told me because your legs..."
"My legs have completely recovered now," said Zayn with a smile.
“Good, great!" Nigel looked excitedly at Zayn. "Zayn, do you know? I envied and admired you the most for rescuing Sabrina away and taking her to wander the world. You have taken such good care of Aino in those six years, so who am I to blame you? It was you and Sabrina who changed my heart and let me be reborn once again. I will be grateful to you both in this life of mine."
After saying that, Nigel took a look at Sabrina, and then smiled. "However, Zayn, I still envy you very much. Mm-hmm...a mix of envy, jealousy and hate. At best, I am just a friend to Sabrina, but you’re different. Your place in Sabrina’s heart is only second to Aino and my cousin.
