The man's voice was coming through the door, so it felt like the volume was fluctuating. Sabrina followed the voice and came to the man's study. Only then could she hear it increasingly clearer.
It turned out that Sebastian was on a call in his study. Sabrina did not know who Sebastian had called. She just listened to the fragmented conversation.
"Well, okay. I know.
"If the share is not enough, we can negotiate again on Monday. Hmm? You bought it for her? She is not short of any gifts. Okay, then come over tomorrow. Oh right, regarding your cousin, you have to be careful. He would not just give it up like this. However, you don't have to be afraid of him either. Everything would be explained by the Ford Group. You just need to do your part. After all, he is your cousin..."
There was a pause.
"Alright, if you think it’s appropriate to bring your parents for, then just bring them over. If there isn't anything else, I'll hang up first.”
Sebastian's tone sounded like it was dull and flat, but h e was already trying to be patient.
Although Sabrina could only hear Sebastian’s answer over at this end, and she could not hear who exactly was on the other end of the line, Sabrina wondered if
the call was made by Sebastian to Zayn. Perhaps it could have been Zayn who was the one who called Sebastian.
No matter which party initiated the call, Sabrina thought to herself that this was the matter between two men, and they were both her closest family, so it was unnecessary for her to participate in the business between the two men.
She just sat outside.
It was not until Sabrina had confirmed that the call was over, that she walked slowly into the room while carrying a glass of lemonade. She placed the glass of lemonade in front of Sebastian.
She stood in front of Sebastian with her gaze lowered and both her hands held together in front of her as if she was a child who had made a mistake.
