When she smashed her phone into the ground like that, Sabrina felt as if she had thrown it right at the faces of every member of the upper class in South City, humiliating them all.
Seated and watching the outburst, the noble families grew uneasy as the phone hit the ground. 1
Sabrina smirked at them. "I've already bought my ticket for the train back to my hometown that departs the day after tomorrow. In just one and a half days, I will be leaving South City. This city belongs to all of you, and when I leave, it will be none of my concern anymore! I will never return here. If your sons happen t o be seduced by some other woman in the future, it will have nothing to do with me. Now, Old Master Ford, please tell me, did I explain everything thoroughly enough?"
Henry’s aged face was frozen stiff.
He had originally wanted Sabrina to apologize to everyone in the hall, and to promise that she would never form a relationship with any of the scions or have any unwelcome thoughts toward them.
If Sabrina had been willing to do that, Henry had planned on compensating her with some money.
After all, during the two months leading up to Grace's death, it was Sabrina who stayed by her side and took
care of her.
Even if Sabrina did not have any merits, she still worked hard!
Henry might have been ruthless, but he was not an unreasonable person.
He could be understanding at times.
However, Henry never expected Sabrina to act so intensely, even threatening to commit suicide right there in the hall.
By doing that, she was clearly implying that she would rather die than apologise to them.
That was a huge slap across the face to all of the noble families present!
