"Sabrina..." Marcus did not know how to start.
"Tell me, Mr Shaw, am I close to you? Do we know each other well?" Sabrina looked at Marcus mockingly. "I admit, I have borrowed money from you once. Looking back at it now, it’s clear that I shouldn't have done that. I’ve already apologized to you, so what more do you want?
"What do you want from me?!
"Just because I asked you for money once, you think that you can keep pestering me, even when you didn't give me a single cent in the end. It's one thing for you t o harass me, but you even got your sister to humiliate me and made your grandfather join in. Marcus, did I offend your ancestors or something?!"
Marcus pleaded, "Sabrina, listen to me, can you please just listen to what I have to say?"
"Fine! Speak up, what is that you want?" Sabrina was getting impatient.
"I have an aunt." Marcus started to say.
"What does that have to do with me?!"
"A long time ago, my aunt ran away from home after throwing a tantrum at my grandparents. She ended up leaving for thirty years, and never returned. The Shaw family has constantly sent people to scour the
countryside, but had no success in locating her. To this day, we don't know whether my aunt is dead or alive." Marcus sounded serious.
"Your family has lost that person for over thirty years, and now you are trying to say I kidnapped her? I'm sorry, but unfortunately I'm female, I only seduce men, not women! Please get lost! Don't block my way!"
"The thing is, you look a lot like my aunt." Marcus said.
"Bullsh*t!" Sabrina spat out. "If I really did look like someone from the Shaw family, I'd rather disfigure m y own face!"
Her harsh words left Marcus speechless.
Seeing the intense temper of the woman standing in front of him, Marcus really felt like she was somehow related to his aunt. 1
