When Aino said that, both Zayn and Hana felt extremely awkward. It was particularly so for Hana. She blushed suddenly, then she squatted and looked a t Aino very apologetically. "Aino, you are a good child. I know that you're very kind, and you care a lot for me, right? However, I...I am already very old, so I am not... compatible with your uncle. Besides, your uncle and m y daughter truly love each other. As long as they love each other wholeheartedly and as long as your uncle treats my daughter well, as a mother, I will certainly give them my blessings. You should also wish them happiness and contentment together, alright?"
Aino instantly began to tear up. "Madam Sharpe, are you not going to get yourself a boyfriend anymore?"
Hana smiled. "I am already in my forties this year, why should I find myself a boyfriend?"
There was a pause before her tone suddenly became dull. "In this life, I have already been so hurt by men that I no longer have the intention to be in a relationship anymore. From now on, I will live my life together with my aunt, and will no longer seek a man anymore."
Aino was speechless.
"Don't be upset, Aino. Together with me, let's wish your uncle well, alright?" Hana continued to console Aino.
Aino was very upset, but she also very sensibly nodded her head. She had tears in her eyes. "Alright, I got it, Madam Sharpe."
Zayn felt bad when he saw Hana being so understanding towards a child. He had a prejudice against her because he had heard Tessa and Hector speak ill of Hana often, so Zayn had rejected and despised Hana in his heart. However, at that moment, all of the rejection and despise that he had towards Hana vanished.
At that moment when he looked at his future mother-i n-law again, he thought that she still looked very young. More importantly, she was not a cheater who only sat idle and did not engage in honest work like how Hector had described her. On the contrary, not only was his young future mother-in-law someone with a clear and coherent mind, but she also was a very hardworking and efficient woman. This house that she rented was simple and small, but she had tidied it up into a very neat and cozy house. He truly had no idea how she did it when she had been working almost five jobs a day. On top of that, she even took care of her aunt who was severely ill that year. She truly was quite a great woman.
When he thought of that, Zayn said, "Well..." He wanted to address her as madam, but he felt that it was not quite appropriate as she was only eight years older than him. Their age gap was even smaller than the age gap between him and Tessa. Zayn truly could not address her as madam, so he said, "Don't worry. I will resolve all of your aunt's matters. As for your relationship with Tessa, I will certainly think of a way to be the mediator for both of you. Believe in me. No matter what had once happened between the two of you, your relationship by blood as a pair of biological mother and daughter will never change. I will think of a way for both of you to reconcile."
Hana instantly feared up. "Thank-thank you, Master Zayn. I...I had misunderstood you in the past. My daughter has a good eye. I am very relieved that she could marry you. I'm very happy."
Zayn smiled. "Don’t mention it. The most important thing now is for us to resolve your aunt's matter. It can’t be delayed any further. Does she have the contact number for the Dixon family? Do you remember their house address? Without any delay, we will go look for them early in the morning tomorrow and resolve this matter face-to-face. Then, there will b e no more troubles in the future."
"Sure, alright. Thank you!" said Hana. She then urged the old lady. "Aunt Cecilia, look up the address and contact for the Dixon family and hand it to Master Zayn."
The old lady then went to look for it without hesitation.
"Also, bring your divorce certificate along as well."
"Oh, alright!" said the old lady with excitement.
Zayn looked at his watch, then he said, "Both of you should rest. It's already getting late. I have to send Aino back first. After I have handled the business affairs in my company tomorrow morning, I will drive over and pick you up. Then, we will go directly to the Dixon family's house to resolve this matter, alright?"
