"I'm taking you to get a marriage certificate," Zayn said.
Tessa looked at Zayn in shock. "Za-Zayn, are you... being serious?"
"I have not joked with others for a very long time,” said Zayn.
Tessa's tears immediately streamed down her cheeks. "Zayn, I'm...sorry. I have misjudged you this morning. However, why would you be in touch with that woman? That woman..."
Seeing that Zayn has a stern expression, Tessa did not continue. She bit her lips. "Have you thought it through about taking me to get a marriage certificate?”
Zayn smiled lightly. "Of course, I have thought it through.”
Prior to that day, Zayn had never thought about getting married so soon. After all, marriage was a matter that would last a lifetime. He did not wish to get married a second time in his life. He originally wanted to know more about Tessa and see how compatible they are with each other. However, after what Hana said that morning, Zayn had made the decision to marry Tessa. A voice from the bottom of his heart was telling him that he had to marry Tessa, only then could he pay back the favor to Hana for
saving his life. In any case, other than having a conflict with her mother, Tessa was an excellent girl. H e would not suffer any losses for marrying a girl who was ten years younger than him.
After he had thought it through, he said firmly again." Let's go, I will take you to get our marriage certificate now!"
Tessa stopped crying and laughed instead. "Oh, Zayn, you truly are an inexperienced manly man."
Zayn was speechless.
"There are a lot of documents needed to apply for a marriage certificate. All my documents are at home with my dad, so I have to first go home and get them."
