Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 1868

Maysun, who had fallen into the sewer, was confused. At that moment, she felt like she was a hair's breadth away from death. Her mind was completely blank. After pausing for a few seconds, she remembered she had a hammer in her car. Immediately after that, she took the hammer and broke the glass window. When the glass broke, a pungent smell came straight into the car. In fact, the sewer was not that huge and it also was not that deep. The deepest end of the sewer only came up to the waist of a person. However, that was enough to submerge Maysun's car engine.

The pungent dirty water mixed with human waste flooded into the car from the glass window and had covered Maysun entirely. She wanted to climb out of the window to escape, but after struggling for a while, her face was covered with the dirty water. Not only that, but after she had gotten half of her body out the window, only then did she suddenly think of something. Where was she going to land? Surely, she could not dive into the pungent sewer head first, right? She then retreated back in, but then she realized her car was shaking.

She did not dare to move a single muscle as the car was shaking. If she were to retreat further back, the car may flip over in an instant. If that happened, then she truly would drown to death in the sewer that was not even a meter deep. Oh! Maysun had never been in such a wretched situation growing up!

She endured the pungent smell hung out of the car with half of her body inside the car and half of it out o f the window. She shouted with all her might. "Help! Quickly help me! Aino, you d*mned thing. You'll die a horrible death..."

Aino, who was hiding in her Uncle Kingston's car on this end, was giggling. After that, she looked at Kingston with slight concern. "Uncle Kinston, would she...die?"

"Do you wish for her to die?" Kingston asked.

Aino shook her head. "No, I don't."

Kingston was speechless. She was still a child after all, she was only six years old. She was still a very kind child. Even though she hated this woman who audaciously came to snatch away her mother's position, Aino still did not wish for this woman to die. The child was very soft hearted. She did become like a grown up, but she still was not as vicious and cruel like the adults.

Kingston suddenly felt heartbroken. He wrapped an arm around Aino, and whispered, "That won’t happen, little princes. This sewer is very, very shallow. She won't die. Even if her car really did overturn, I will go and save her. Besides, in another few minutes, the garbage truck would be here. She will then be saved. She won't die." 1

Aino immediately raised her and looked at Kingston i

n relief. "Then, that's good, Uncle Kingston."

Kingston was speechless. His pulled the arm that was wrapped around Aino even tighter. He did not tell the little princess that Maysun, Lily, and Rose, the three of them had originally joined hands and wanted to throw Aino away. They even had the idea of getting Aino killed. The reason was that Aino was Sabrina's child. Aino was not easily disciplined. Aino was not close to Sean, and was even more distant to Rose. The harm that they had done to Aino was far more than what Aino did to them. To put it bluntly, no matter how cruel a child was, how could she be even more cruel than a few adults combined? If they wanted to blame someone, then they could only blame themselves for not being as smart as Aino and not having as many ideas as Aino.

However, at that moment, Kingston did not tell Aino anything. He did not want to make Aino sad and then make her appear even more like an adult than she had become a few days ago. She was still young. However, what she had experienced was enough to cause her pain. Kinston did not want to let Aino suffer any blows anymore. He only gently said to Aino, "Let's go back, little princess. This show must go on. It is only if this act was real enough that your mother could return to your father and your side sooner."
