"That's right!” Jade smiled cunningly. "I want Sabrina t o die! If she dies, Selene will be able to gain her happiness! I never expected that Sebastian would suddenly regret the wedding at the last moment!"
Lincoln looked at Jade with a dark expression. "I never expected that you would be so cruel as well!”
Jade was speechless.
Lincoln suddenly had a relaxed smile on his face." Whatever, if she dies she dies. She should have died long ago, she should have just died in prison. Or she should have died when she was kidnapped, Kenton should have killed her off. She’s already lived for over a month too long."
Jade looked at Lincoln, full of hope. "Sabrina's death is the first step, but how do we get out of our current predicament?" 1
"We won't escape!" Lincoln said, "As long as an accident kills the child in Selene’s belly, we can pin the blame on the bodyguards or the servants. That way, even if Sebastian tries to catch us, we won’t be able to. And Selene, you remain his lawful wife." i
Jade emotionally grabbed her husband's shoulders." Hubby, you're so smart.”
"Father!" Selene cried in relief, looking at Lincoln pitifully. 1
After being confined for three days, the Lynn family realized that it was impossible for such an accident to happen.
The servants that Sebastian hired were all incredibly well trained, and were extremely hardworking and careful. They never went near the Lynn family. 1
The whole Lynn family were basically living in a cage and they started to lose hope.
Elsewhere, Sebastian had started to lose hope as well. Three days had passed, and Kingston had brought some men to scour the entire city, but they found no trace of Sabrina at all. They asked Marcus, but Marcus only kept his mouth shut and feigned ignorance. He only said that he saw someone try to run over Sabrina with a truck.
Sebastian immediately got Kingston to look into surveillance footage, to see who was the one who had wanted to kill Sabrina. After looking in the footage, they realized that it was a heavy truck with no registration number.
Sabrina remained untrackable. The Smith family's young master, Zayn, was also missing.
After three days, Sabrina and Zayn had already gone through Zayn’s prearranged route, and arrived at a remote, small city to the south. Zayn drove for two straight days with his injured hand, not even bandaging his arm or sleeping. When they reached the city, Zayn immediately collapsed on the steering
wheel.
He had a high fever and was unconscious.
"Zayn!” Sabrina cried.
