It was not until half a year after the death of Henry Ford, that Sebastian brought Sabrina, Aino, and also Louie back to the Ford Residence again. During that period, Sebastian had only come to the Ford Residence, but Sabrina and the children had never come over.
The large Ford Residence was once so brilliant, lively, and grand, but it was so desolate at that moment. There were only two people in the entire house, who were Old Madam Ford and Sean. However, they had more than 20 maids working in the house. Old Madam Ford usually never leaves the house. She spent most o f her time sitting and praying in her room while Sean only came over to her room when it was time for him t o send her meals to her. As for the rest of the time, Sean would be staying alone.
There were also many times when Sean actually asked his driver to take him to secretly visit Aino at her kindergarten. However, he also only glanced at her from afar. Sometimes he also could not even get a glimpse of her. That was because Aino was not able to appear on the field inside her kindergarten to play every day. However, when Sena could catch sight of her, Sean would always end up covered in tears as he watched Aino smile, jump, and play with that agile and healthy little body of hers.
"Aino, the yard at my house is much larger than this kindergarten. Come to my house and I can play with you. Aino..."
Sean called out softly while tears streamed down his face. Only the driver behind him could hear him. The driver could not bear to see him like this, so he gently said, "Master, let's...go back, alright?"
Sean turned his head around and looked at the driver with her eyes welled up in tears. "Carl, you...can never toy with women in the future. You can never do that! You can't cheat her feelings, especially when you can't marry her. That's because...because...every action in this world would have a reaction. You will have to pay for all of your past mistakes."
Carl was speechless. Sean was still crying. "Did you see that? My granddaughter is so cute, pretty, and healthy. Who do you think she looks like?"
In order to comfort Sean, the driver then blurted out." Master, everyone in the house could tell from a long time ago that your granddaughter looks most like you."
"Nonsense! How can you be a driver like this? How can you talk such nonsense?" Sean scolded the driver. The driver was speechless.
Did he accidentally polish the wrong apple? Could it b e that was not what the old man meant? Every single person in the entire Ford Residence knew that Master Ford had been sweetly missing his grandson and granddaughter. He particularly missed his granddaughter, Aino, and had been chanting about it all day long. Sometimes, he would even talk to himself. "Am I Aino's grandfather? Maybe I am not. If not, why wouldn't Aino acknowledge me?"
The maids would then console him heart by saying," Don't worry, Master. You certainly are the little princess's grandfather. You didn't see it, but Aino and you looked very alike."
Once he heard such words, Sean would smile.
However, this time, Sean looked at the driver with his eyes welled up with tears. "What nonsense are you saying? Aino is not like me! Aino looks like her grandmother, her late grandmother!"
The driver was speechless. Did the little princess' grandmother not become mentally ill and was sent to the psychiatric hospital? The driver was a new recruit and had only worked for the Ford family for half a year, so he was not too familiar with the Ford family's past.
"Her grandmother is very pretty. She was also a little princess and an outstanding student when she was young! I was the one who ruined her life. I had ruined her whole life! Thinking back, the thing she had told m e the most back then was that she wanted to wear a wedding dress. She felt that a woman would have lived in vain if she had not worn a wedding dress in her life. However, she never got to wear a wedding dress in her life. It was me. It was because of me that she never got to be married in this life. I have caused her to carry the name as a homewrecker for life. I caused her to be depressed her whole life."
