"Send Aino back when she is returning to South City tomorrow afternoon. You have to personally hand her over to her parents," said Alex.
"There's no need for that," said Aino.
"It's a must for Isadora to send you home!"
"Mister Poole, there's actually no need for that because I happen to be returning to South City for my internship tomorrow," said Minerva.
"That won't do as well! You're both children. I won't be at ease!" Alex said firmly.
Aino and Minerva looked at each other and then stuck their tongues out. "Alright then. I can take the opportunity to bring Aunt Isadora around South City. My mom also misses Aunt Isadora."
"That’s more like it!" Alex's tone eased up quite a bit, and he also booked a flight for Aino, Minerva, and Isadora on the spot.
After that, both Aino and Minerva played with the children for quite a while at the Ford Residence. It was only when Aino found the time that she asked Ruth," Aunt Ruth, is your mother-in-law hypercritical of you?"
Ruth looked at Aino. "I am fine. A child like you shouldn't ask about these matters. You see, your Aunt Jane is my husband's aunt-in-law. I also have Isadora here to accompany me. I am fine."
Ruth had been married for three years and had already learned plenty. She had learned to be tolerant, patient, and how to get along with this big family. She had also become more mature. Seeing Ruth being like that, Aino was also more at ease.
"Tell you mother that everything is great for me," said Ruth.
"I know! Then, I will be going to shop with Miss Minerva, alright?" Aino said, smiling.
Aino had specially come to Kidon City alone to look for Minerva. She loved shopping at the stores by the streets, having snacks, and buying some knick-knacks and whatnot with Minerva the best. That was because they were similar in age and also had the same uncle, Holden.
Ruth nodded. "Go ahead."
Isadora had been accompanying both Aino and Minerva as they wandered around some of the older parts of the town for the remaining time.
"Aino, which college do you plan to apply to? What would you like to major in?" asked Minerva.
