"What's the matter, baby? You don't want to follow in your mother's footsteps, right? It's fine. It’s fine. You can choose yourself.
Whatever you want to study, we’ll support you," Sebastian immediately said.
The clever Aino nodded her head. "I want t o be like a mother and study architectural design.
Both Sebastian and Sabrina were speechless. Both of them truly never had expected that the child would want to study architectural design.
Aino firmly nodded her head again. "When I was still a very young child, I often went t o the construction site with Mom. Life was very hard for her back then. She sometimes even had to wheel my uncle around. I would then be by my uncle's side. I can feel how hard it was for Mom every day. Mom even helped the villagers nearby design their house, and the house that they built was very sturdy. Later on, the reason she had such extensive experience was related to the six years she had spent working at the construction site during that period. Also, there were many minority groups living there, so Mom had studied all about the structures of roundhouses, stilt houses, and so on. That way, her experience got even more extensive. When she was studying stilt houses, wooden houses, roundhouses, I was also very interested. When I get a little older, I want to travel the world and see all the architecture around the world."
At such a young age, she already had her own dreams and plans. Sebastian and Sabrina were incomparably happy as they looked at her. Sabrina, in particular, was very happy. The child that she had brought up was finally a mature girl with her own dreams. How great. When Sabrina was 12, her entire life was gloomy. However, things were different for her children. Once she thought about her life, Sabrina suddenly looked dejected.
"Mom, what's the matter?" Aino asked.
"I miss your grandma," said Sabrina.
Aino smiled. "Isn't that easy? Let's go visit grandma now."
It was Sunday that day, anyway, and the children only had to go to school the following day.
"I am too busy these days. It's been a long time since I've not visited your grandma," said Sabrina.
"Alright, I'll go with you to visit your mother," Sebastian immediately said gently.
They then agreed to visit once they spoke about it. After they had their breakfast, the family of five then drove to Gloria's house. However, they learned that she was not home. Where could she go?
Gloria was usually at home every weekend. It was because Sabrina knew that her mother would be at home that she did not give her a call before she left her house. In the end, her mother was surprisingly not home. If the old lady was not waiting for her grandchildren to visit her at home, then where could she go? Could she have made up with her biological father? Sabrina was a little puzzled.
In the past few days, things between her mother and her grandfather were not as hostile as a few years back. However, her mother has always been very cold to her grandfather. After all, her grandfather had never raised her mother. All of her mother's sufferings were related to her grandfather, and that kind of experience growing up could never be erased.
Therefore, it was already very generous of her mother to not hate her grandfather and live in peace with him. Since her mother did not go to her grandfather, then where did he go? Could it be?
Sabrina's eyes lit up, and she happily looked at Sebastian. "Sebastian, do you think my mom is seeing someone?"
Sebastian had just gulped down a mouthful of water, but he spewed it all out. It so happened that the two brothers, Louie and Chris, were sitting across from him. Sebastian had sprayed the mouthful of water all over the brothers. Both of them looked at their father very innocently. Immediately after that, they looked at each other. Then, the three fathers and sons burst out laughing uncontrollably.
