Seeing that Sabrina was still cowering under the blanket like an ostrich and refused to come out, the man fished her out from the blanket, then surveyed her from top to bottom with his eyes, and then said," Don't get out of bed today. Rest well. The maid will bring you your meals.”
Sabrina did not say anything.
"Do you hear me?" the man said again to her in a cold tone.
The tone was as if it was an order.
An order that does not allow her to refute.
"I... heard it.” She was at his mercy anyway, so she would just follow whatever he said.
Sabrina only hoped that he could leave the bedroom quicker, so she could find her own clothes to put on, and then quickly go check on Aino. 1
She had not seen Aino for the whole night. How did Aino sleep?
Did she sleep well?
Aino was only five years old. She was still so young and had not been apart from her mother before.
Perhaps Sabrina's expression gave away what she had in mind, she suddenly heard the man say, "I
forgot. You had not seen your daughter for one night."
Having said that, he turned around and took a white shirt out of his closet. He did not care if Sabrina was willing to wear it or not, he just helped her put on the white shirt, then carried her horizontally off the bed. 1
He opened the bedroom door.
Sabrina immediately heard a child’s voice. "Auntie, may I please know have you seen my mom yet?"
The kind voice then said, "Little princess, come, be good and have another bite."
"Where is my mom? I want my mom.” Aino tried her best to hold back the catch in her throat and bravely requested so.
"Your mom and dad are still sleeping. Little princess, d o you want a little brother or sister?" the maid asked with a smile.
