Nigel was left speechless.
After a moment, Nigel said, "My cousin handles business matters at the company during the day.”
"Sure.”
"Hmm?"
"We could go to the company,” said Sabrina.
Nigel sighed lightly, "Get in, and I'll drive you there.”
Sabrina calmly followed Nigel into the car. After Nigel started the engine and drove the car out, he asked," Sabrina, have you been well with Zayn these past few years?"
Once Zayn was mentioned, Sabrina immediately feared up. She turned to look at Nigel. "Master Nigel, I ... I know you wanted to toy with me, but you had not succeeded. Could you help me inquire about my brother's whereabouts now? Is he dead or alive? Also, where is his family now?"
"If you were willing to do this favor for me, I would agree to whatever you asked me to do."
"Even the game that you played six years ago, I could promise you! As long as you help me.”
"I only needed to know that they’re still alive."
"Alright?"
Nigel did not say anything.
The veins on his hand that was holding the steering wheel were all popped up. The words used by Sabrina t o beg him penetrated his heart like a poisoned arrow. They made him bleed out with incomparable pain.
His hand that was shaking could not hold the steering wheel well and almost drove the car into the side of the road.
Nigel parked the car and looked at Sabrina with a guilty expression. "Sabrina, listen to me. I know I made a mistake six years ago."
"I couldn’t apologize enough even if I had died ten thousand times."
"Indeed, I treated you as a plaything the first moment I saw you."
"However, I shot myself in the foot in the end."
