"I bet those two beauties would be the bosses of our director for life!"
"The director must have been dying to show them off. I'm so jealous I don't even know if I had the appetite for dinner anymore."
The office discussion was not discreet, and some of the comments were heard by Sebastian and Sabrina, but Sebastian decided to ignore them.
On the other hand, Sabrina turned around abruptly as they were a few meters away from the entrance.
The heated gossiping immediately ceased as everyone was stunned by her looks.
The glimpse of her beauty was comparable to that of the legendary Aphrodite. Innocence, composure, indifference, and fragility, all of these qualities seemed to combine perfectly to form her intoxicating demeanor.
There was no proper description for her beauty, but it was similar to the essence of all beauties known to mankind. Although it had complexity and depth, her beauty was so pure at the same time.
The glance Sabrina took behind her, which left an impression to everyone in the office, was not prompted by the gossip she heard.
She was not Sebastian's lover or wife, and it seemed inaccurate to define their relationship as mortal enemies.
She knew that however they defined the relationship, i t was meant to be kept a secret. She could imagine how people would talk about their director and the woman they saw beside him behind their backs, but she was prepared for that and could not care less.
She only cared to know whether they had looked into Sebastian's office and caught on to their "afternoon activity".
Damn that gigantic glass window!
However, Sabrina did not expect to see a wall where the glass window would have been at the office and from outside looking in, nothing could be seen but the cement wall.
