"Believe me, Kingston. At that time, I was truly like a savage person who had not been enlightened by the thousands of years of human civilizations."
Upon saying that, Eevonne's tears started to stream quietly down her cheeks.
Kingston simply felt sorry for her when he heard her objectively judging her craziness and psychotic episode.
"You’re a good girl. In this world, every girl who could reflect on herself, recognize her own mistake, and who doesn't subjectively praise herself but objectively judge herself, is a good girl. Eevonne, you are a brave girl, " Kingston comforted her in a miserable but firm tone.
Eevonne was choked with tears. "Kingston, do you know? I...I only need a friend. Just one.
"I need a friend who could completely understand me. I need this friend to tell me that I'm not a bad person and I don't like to argue with others that much. I just need a friend to care for me, agree with me, and approve of me. Just one would do.
"However, I don't have any.
"There are so many people in the company. Many of them remained silent or neutral, at best, but not a person would stand up for me.
"I think if someone in this world could encourage me, comfort me, and tell me,' Eevonne, it's alright. You shouldn't care so much anymore in the future. Perhaps being in a chaotic environment, it's inevitable for you to have an argument with others.
"‘Eevonne, you have to remember this in the future, you should always remain calm and objective when it comes to arguments that you shouldn’t be involved in. However, if it was something that needed to fight for, you must be unyielding. You have to let those people know that your mind is not that weak, you’re calm, and you're extraordinary.
"'If you could do that, those people would no longer dare to have a prejudice against you. Naturally, nobody would exhaust all the ways to pick a fight with you and piss you off, which would lead you to quarrel with everybody you see.
"'In other words, you use your intelligence. You can't be afraid of being lonely and offending others. You can’t be without principles and dignity. The more you're like that, the more you’ll lose everything. In the end, you'll end up in this current state.
'"Eevonne, you have to believe that even if you've lost everything in the world, you still have me.'
