That was the difference in everybody's character.
Eevonne looked like a ferocious person who loved to quarrel with others. She seemed like she would never conform with the group, and she was even said to be a psycho. However, deep down, Eevonne was an incredibly soft and weak person who did not know what to do. That was what led her to be continuously passive and end up being looked down upon by others. On top of that, just like what she had said, she had indeed once been vain.
However, Sabrina was different. Sabrina's circumstance back then was actually a hundred times harder than Eevonne's.
However, she was incredibly determined deep down. She could clearly recognize that had not done anything wrong. As long as did not do anything wrong, she would never compromise, and would never submit to anyone. However, Sabrina never argued with anybody. Sabrina was able to endure everything. She was able to use her silent resistance to subdue anybody around her.
Eevonne, however, did not have the charm to subdue others like that. When others talk about her mistakes, she would be swayed. However, how many people like Sabrina could there be in this world? There was only one in the entire South City, who was Sabrina herself Only Sabrina could live her life in a proud and unyielding manner in that kind of environment.
There were plenty of people in this world, and the vast majority of them were weak. Eevonne, for example, was one of them. However, even if she had millions of flaws
and was not that likable, she was good-natured. Also, she was serious in her work. Those were already enough.
If her boss had not noticed that she was good-natured and serious in her work, how could he possibly keep her in the company for three years? Her boss, like many other bosses in the world, was no fool.
Kingston let out a deep sigh and said to her, "Eevonne, after we've been discharged and after my things over here had been taken care of, I'll take you to meet that friend of mine. She is a person who had once been in a situation that was ten times worse than yours. After you've met her, you may find your emotional support."
"What does she do for a living?" Eevonne asked curiously.
"She's an architectural designer," said Kingston.
"I see. You’re working under her, aren't you?
