"If Yvonne is still alive, she should have two children as well. You see, both of you... actually are fated. Don't you think so?"
Mila nodded and cried.
"Take us there, alright?" Sabrina could not wait to see the children. She was thinking that maybe the children would look like Yvonne and Marcus.
"Alright," Mila answered.
"I...we'll go too," Helena said in a rush.
Vincent, who was next to her, also nodded. They could not find their daughter, but if they could see the children, that would be the best form of comfort for them. All of them followed Mila out of downtown South City and went straight toward a small town that was nearest to downtown South City. The town was not big and looked quite quaint. Both the children were fostered by a pair of retirees there. Both the elderly people were surprised when they saw that Mila had brought a group of people over.
"My child, you...don't have any relatives, don’t you? Why did you bring a group of people over? What have you been up to recently? My wife and I are very worried about you," an elderly man with gray hair said to Mila.
"Mister Lupton, they are...my boss and his friends. I got injured while shooting on set a while ago. It’s considered a work-related injury. My boss is going to compensate me a little. He heard that I have children, so he wanted to come and meet them while he gave me the compensation," Mila told the elderly man a white lie. Sabrina and
Marcus could tell that the elderly man was quite nice to Mila.
"Mister Lupton, I didn't bring any gifts for you this time. I really didn't have the time. I'm sorry. I...where are Dulcie and Felix? Where are they?" asked Mila.
"The two of them insisted on taking a ride on the wooden horses. So my wife has taken them to ride the wooden horses. I’ll give her a call. They'll be back immediately.
