Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 287

Sabrina did not rush inside. She stood outside the window, looking at the pair of father and daughter. Sebastian was earnestly building the wooden house. Sabrina saw a childish and happy glow he was exuding. She suddenly felt a sense of immense happiness. Even if she knew it was all a lie, it was all just her selfish wishes. Yet, it was enough for her to feel a sliver of warmth.

This led Sabrina to think of when she was twelve. She had been sent to the Lynn family by her mother. From that day on, she looked at the Lynn family living happily together every day. And she was just an unwanted adopted child. She looked on as Lincoln and Jade would throw Selene into the air and grabbed her before she fell. Each time, Selene would shout out happily. And she was just like a dog without an owner, looking on by the side, dreaming of being held but never getting it.

Each year, during Selene's birthday, the Lynn family would break the bank so that Selene could have a meaningful birthday. Looking at Selene dressed in a princess outfit and wearing a crown as she made a wish on that gigantic and beautiful cake, Sabrina would dream. She would dream that she would get a cake like that one day. Yet, that never happened. Later on, when Sabrina found out that her child was Sebastian's, her first thought was that she would

never let her child live a life in poverty. She would definitely make sure her child had what she should.

Just like right now, Aino had her father with her, and was like a happy princess. Sabrina quietly looked on a s Sebastian and Aino happily played with the toys in the room. She looked as Sebastian washed Aino’s stinky feet and as Sebastian carried Aino into her bed. She then looked as Sebastian read some stories to Aino until Aino fell asleep. 1

When Sebastian stepped out of Aino's room, he saw Sabrina standing outside. He coldly asked her, "Aren't you tired?!"

Sabrina was dumbfounded. "Huh? What did you say?"

"Why aren't you asleep?!” Sebastian asked.

Sabrina replied, "I...I was waiting for you."

"Waiting for me?" Sebastian’s lips twitched as he laughed coldly. "Waiting for me to teach you how to serve men? Waiting for me to bathe you? To carry you into bed?"
