While taking off his shoes, Sebastian asked, "What is i t?"
Aino had already let go of Sebastian's hand and was now running into Sabrina's arms. She started to tell her excitedly, "Mother, I met two old men and an old lady today. The old lady is a little fierce, and so is the smaller old man, but the old man on the bed wasn’t. I defeated him!"
Sabrina immediately realized who Aino was talking about.
She looked at Sebastian, puzzled. "You brought Aino t o the hospital to visit... Your grandfather?"
Sebastian did not answer. Instead, he asked Sabrina calmly, "Didn’t you have something to discuss with m e?"
Sabrina bit her lips and asked carefully, "You've actually already accepted Aino as your daughter, right?"
Yes!
She wasn't dumb!
Sebastian continued looking at Sabrina. "What did you want to discuss with me?"
Right after he asked that, Sebastian brought Aino to the washroom to wash her hands, and sat her at the
dining table.
Aunt Lewis, who was in charge of dinner, brought many different dishes to the table.
She was not only a good cook, but was very considerate when it came to preparing meals. When she knew that there would be a child eating with them, she purposely prepared sweet corn as one of the dishes.
Before serving it, Aunt Lewis boiled fresh sweet corn i n water and coated it in flour. Then, she fried it until it turned golden brown, and added ketchup as the final touch.
"Wow!" exclaimed Aino, who was from the countryside. It was her first time eating corn like that. Looking at the golden brown coating, the crispy looking corn kernels and the ketchup that blanketed i t, Aino salivated in anticipation.
When she saw Aino getting so excited, Aunt Lewis remarked, "Madam, the little princess is still growing, s o the three of you should eat as a family. Once you finish eating, I will prepare some fruits for you. Then you can talk with each other on the sofa, wouldn't that be better?"
Sabrina looked at Aunt Lewis with gratitude. She really was an amazing maid.
