Aino was truly a blessed child.
Sabrina could not help but smile bitterly.
Even if she herself had to suffer, Sabrina knew that with a father like Sebastian, Aino would never have to worry about money, nor would she ever be bullied by anyone else.
If Aino was able to live a good life, it would be the best form of consolation for her.
While Sabrina was lost in her thoughts, Sebastian had already left the toy room, holding a phone by his ear. H e went into his room as he shut the door behind him.
Sabrina was left by herself outside.
Not long after, Aino came out of the room as well. As she looked at her mother, Aino tried to get her attention by waving and said all of a sudden, "Mother, kneel down.”
Sabrina knelt down, and Aino whispered into her ear, asking, "Mother, are you angry at me?"
Sabrina shook her head. "I'm not angry at you, how could I be? Nothing could make me happier than to see you being loved by other people as well. Baby, Sebastian is your father, did you notice how similar the both of you look?"
With a soft voice, Aino began to say, "Mother, I can't
beat Stinky Dad, so the only thing I can do is to pretend to get close to him. What you see isn’t actually real."
Sabrina looked at Aino in shock.
She kept her large eyes on Sabrina and said innocently, "Mother, I will protect you."
Sabrina didn't know how to respond but felt incredibly touched.
She embraced Aino and said gently, "You are the best, baby. Thank you."
When they let go of each other, Sebastian came out of his room.
