Sabrina stared at Sebastian with a puzzled look on her face. "Why? Do you want the Ford family to acknowledge me?"

She started to smile. "I don't think such an honor would be bestowed onto me. If I go there, things will only get messy. It would be better if I stayed here."

The way she said that so calmly caused Sebastian to choke on his words.

When the grip on her hand suddenly relaxed, Sabrina took the chance to escape to her room.

She had been there twice. The first time was when Sebastian had brought her there after she was first released from prison. The second time was right before she escaped South City, when Henry had called her there and Sabrina had been deeply humiliated.

The next morning, Sabrina woke up very early.

She headed to Aino's room straight away and instructed her gently, "Aino, daddy will bring you to grandpa's place to eat today. You have to be a good girl and not cause any trouble. You must be a mature young lady, understand?"

Aino innocently asked Sabrina, "Are you not going?"

Sabrina shook her head. "I haven't been able to find a job all this while, but today I finally managed to get an interview. You want me to be an independent mother too, right?"

Aino nodded in agreement. "Right."

"So I can't accompany you there. You'll go with daddy instead, and you must listen to him at all times, okay?" After urging Aino a few more times, Sabrina took the documents and left the house.

There was a computer in the house, but it belonged to Sebastian. Sabrina was not sure if he would allow her t o use it, so she thought that looking for a cyber cafe outside would be a better idea.
