Aino started to clap her hands, jumping up and down happily. "Wow, auntie, you weren't pretty before, but after you put on this green turtle hat, you suddenly look much better! Luck is such a good name for you too!"
Selene enunciated angrily, "What. Did. You. Say!"
Just by looking at the expressions of those standing around her, she knew that the despicable bastard of a daughter definitely had not put something pleasant o n her head.
However, as so many people were present, Selene did not want to make a scene by arguing with that child.
Yet, she had never expected that a horrible child like her, who had come from such a lowly background would actually put a green hat with the word cuck on her.
Was the girl trying to say someone was cuckolding her?
Which woman is trying to steal her man!
That would depend on whether that woman was worthy or not!
"Oh my, that green hat really looks really pretty on you," Aino mocked her innocently.
The little girl might have only been five years old, but
she already knew what the word cuck meant.
That was only because as her uncle and mother constantly moved around, the people near them would not know what relationship they had when they moved to a new place. They would always end up assuming that her uncle was her father. So when those people saw her uncle in a wheelchair, they would often mock him jokingly, "Handicap, your wife i s so pretty, but you're disabled, aren’t you afraid of being cucked when your wife is outside?"
"Or are you already used to being cucked?"
Everytime he heard that, her uncle would begin to argue with them until his face turned red. "Don't insult my sister like that! I'm not her husband, I'm her brother! She's my sister!"
