"She doesn’t care for it?"
“She's just pretending."
Sabrina truly did not care about Ryan or what he thought of her at all.
She turned her attention back toward her food with her head lowered and started to eat again. When she heard what Ryan had said, she merely uttered "Oh..."
Not one more word.
However, seeing Sabrina's reaction seemed to make Ryan laugh.
"Master Ryan!” Ruth said furiously, "She's a homewrecker! She ruined the relationship between m y sister and my brother-in-law. She is the wench who seduced my brother-in-law!"
Ryan glared at Ruth with a disdainful look. "Why are you acting like a hateful shrew?”
When she heard this, Ruth was taken aback. "Master Ryan, you...what did you say?"
She could not believe her own ears.
Before today, she was a highly favored member of the company. The few shareholders had even treated her like a little sister, with Marcus doting on her as well. Yet, Ryan had called her a hateful shrew in front of so
many people just now?
Ruth grit her teeth in anger.
Ryan, on the other hand, merely frowned and shot her another hateful gaze. "I don't know your brother-in-law personally, but if we had to ask the entire South City who toyed with the most women, there's definitely no one who can compete with him!
"Furthemore, this issue about your brother-in-law seducing women is a private matter to you and the Mann family, so why are you shouting about it in the company?
"If you want to make noise, go home and shout to your heart's content!
"Besides that, regardless of whether you want to catch a thief or an adulterous couple, you need evidence to d o that!
"Have you ever seen Sabrina and your brother-in-law together with your own eyes? Yet you had even called her a homewrecker in such a presumptuous manner!
"If you're not a hateful shrew, then what are you?"
