Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 358

When she heard Ruth's voice, Sabrina tried to ignore it and headed straight for the elevator inside the lobby.

She wasn’t about to start retaliating immediately just because Sebastian had told her not to tolerate people who bullied her. By her nature, Sabrina wasn't a competitive person at all. Furthermore, since she was i n the company now, she didn't want to waste her time with Ruth, someone who only managed to get hired because of family relations and had no intelligence of her own to speak of.

Sabrina pressed the buttons for both elevators at the same time.

However, just as the doors to one of the elevators opened, Ruth managed to catch up to her. "Sabrina! Who do you think you are? Do you think that you're better than everyone here just because Master Ryan showed you some attention? Let me tell you, you're no better than any other woman he keeps under his belt!" 1

As soon as Ruth finished speaking, Sabrina went into the elevator.

She immediately followed behind.

When Sabrina saw this, she snorted contemptuously before getting out of the elevator. She then quickly made her way to the other elevator. Before Ruth could react in time, Sabrina had already closed the elevator

doors.

"B*tch! How dare you trick me!" As Ruth tried to catch up to Sabrina, she accidentally got her high heels stuck in the elevator gap.

"Oh!" she exclaimed.

Ruth lost her balance and accidentally twisted her ankle. On top of that, her skirt was also torn apart.

For a brief moment, her crotch was exposed, which made for a very ugly scene.

Fortunately for her, it was not rush hour yet, so there were only a few people in the lobby who had seen Ruth like that. However, due to her usual domineering and arrogant attitude in the office, they didn't dare to stare at her for too long.

Nevertheless, Ruth felt furious from being humiliated like that.

When the next elevator arrived, she went upstairs and returned to her desk before taking out a spare suit from her drawer. After putting it on, she limped angrily to the design department where Sabrina was working.

Meanwhile, Sabrina had been waiting for Linda to assign her today's workload. Under the chief designer’s orders, Linda was to guide her for a week.

However, she really didn't want to take on that duty.
