After thinking about it, a job at a construction site as a technician or something else would probably suit her better.
The work would be dirty and taxing, but at least the people there were clean.
Sabrina decided that she would aim for various construction sites around the city tomorrow.
When morning came, she didn’t tell Sebastian about her losing her job or her plan to find work. Sabrina didn't like him snooping around asking questions, but most of all, she didn’t want him to know she had gotten into a fight with a colleague after only two days of work.
After breakfast, Sabrina and Sebastian sent Aino to kindergarten together, with Kingston driving. Then they drove to Sabrina’s old office. When the car stopped, Sebastian reminded her again, "Don’t stay in the office too late. I'm bringing you for driving lessons after work."
Sabrina simply nodded and replied, "Ok."
When she was sure that Kingston and Sebastian had driven away, Sabrina quickly boarded the bus. After about five or six stops, she noticed an internet cafe outside and hopped off quickly. She ended up spending half the day inside sending her resume to
various construction sites before taking the bus back t o her company,
For some reason, Sebastian came early today, and had arrived before five p.m. As such, when he saw Sabrina standing there waiting at the intersection, both he and Kingston were confused.
"Madam, you got off early today,” Kingston said with a surprised expression.
"Uhm..." Sabrina lied, "I...I went to the construction site today, and so I didn't actually have to come back to the office, but since you asked me to wait for you here ..." She quickly glanced at Sebastian.
Though she didn't know it, Sabrina's face had started t o turn red as she said that.
She suddenly thought about Sebastian's words earlier today. When he said that he was going to take her to driving lessons, he didn't mean that he was going to teach her personally, did he?
