Sabrina turned her head around and saw an unfamiliar woman.
"What were you doing? Trespassing private residences. Were you not afraid that we would break you into pieces?" The woman scolded Sabrina harshly.
The woman's skin was coarse and tan, and she was wearing an apron. However, the look of contempt with a sense of superiority deep within her bones made Sabrina uncomfortable. The woman was clearly dressed as a maid, but she was indeed a bold and confident maid.
There was a saying that being a maid for a wealthy family had more power, status, wealth and rights to speak than a small boss or manager who opened a tiny stall.
Sabrina had just watched a periodic drama not long ago.
In the drama, there was a prince who was the King's brother. When the prince met a minister who had power in the palace, the minister did not greet the prince, and it was the prince who gave way for the minister to pass through.
The prince's little follower was angry and muttered to the prince, "You are a prince. Therefore, he should have given way to you and greeted you with a bow."
At that time, the prince sighed and said, "When a prince had no power, he would have a life worse than the servants. When a servant gained power, he would live just like a prince.”
When Sabrina looked at the rough and tan maid before her, she was reminded of what the prince said i n the drama. This sentence would be true no matter where it was applied.
Sabrina was Sebastian Ford's wife, but she indeed was a wife with no power. 1
She did not even have the power to decide what to wear.
Let alone offending a maid here.
Sabrina cleared her throat. "I... I am the guest today."
"You?" The brutal maid scolded sharply again, "Do you know where this is? Which corner did you burrow out from? Ah! Look at the way you dressed. You should be the new temporary worker. However, if you were a new temporary worker, how had I not met you? I mainly hired all the new temporary workers. If I had seen someone like you, I would have thrown the person out long ago. Who exactly are you?"
"If you don't tell me, then I would have someone break your legs!"
