"He died," Sabrina said bluntly.
Sebastian first froze for a moment as he did not expect such a reply from her.
He curled his lips and smiled, "First get pregnant, then kill the man later? Your viciousness truly exceeded m y expectations.”
Sabrina did not speak again.
Since any form of explanation would be a wasted effort, it was better to not deny and silently agree with everything to the end.
She looked up. "Have you decided to keep me still to console your mother?"
"Don't tell me that you want to break the contract?" Sebastian asked instead.
"You have exposed my deceptive scheme, I thought you..."
Sebastian interrupted her with a sneer. "Since the contract has been signed, you must serve my mother obediently until she dies! Your scheme? You would first have to see if your schemes could be tougher than my tactics!"
Sabrina was speechless.
The man turned around and was about to leave, but
Sabrina called out to him from behind. "You... Wait a minute."
Sebastian looked back at her.
"Give me $2,000 USD," she said.
"I have no obligation to raise the child in your belly,” The man closed the door and left. 1
Sabrina hugged her knees and sat on the bed alone.
The penniless days were truly difficult to endure. She had no idea how to return the camera to the owner. She hoped that Marcus, who had only spoken to her briefly at the banquet, would call her now and take the liberty to lend her $2,000 USD.
