The woman who spoke to Sabrina was someone
Sabrina had never seen before. The woman looked rather pretty and the way she dressed was even more luxurious and expensive than Susan's mother.
A Bentley that was worth nearly three million dollars was parked nearby. Sabrina could tell at a glance that this woman was the wife of a rich man.
Sabrina could tell how harsh was the tone of the rich lady. However, because of the incident in the morning where Emma had come looking for trouble, Sabrina did not want to have new problems to complicate things.
She immediately asked the rich lady in front of her humbly. "May I know which child's mother you are? I’m sorry that I’ve been too busy these past two days, and I missed out on responding in our small group functions. However, I will attend the party our group i s holding. May I know which hotel it would be at, or whose house would it be at? No matter which hotel or whose house, I will pay the amount that is needed, and I will proactively respond to the group's calling.” i
After listening to what Sabrina has to say, the rich lady sneered instead. "You talk about it at the entrance of the kindergarten, do you intend to let the other parents in the kindergarten hear about it? You actually have the money, and you are not hiding from
us? If you truly are willing to participate in our party, then I'll give you another chance. Look at our group chat history properly at home! Don't tell me that you have already seen it, you're pretending to not know!"
The woman's words implied that Sabrina had already read the chat history and was only pretending to not know. In truth, Sabrina truly did not know. She had been so busy with work the entire morning, and she also was not someone who liked to socialize. Hence, it was difficult for her to reply to the group messages in time.
In a rush to take Aino home, Sabrina just hurriedly said, "Alright, alright. I will read every message when I get home. I'll leave first, goodbye."
Having said that, she took Aino's hand and walked off.
"Mom, you seem as if your spirit has left your body today.” The five-year-old little child had already learned to say that, and Aino could tell that her mother looked like she was absent-minded.
Sabrina put up a smile and asked Aino, "Has my spirit left my body or was I just absent-minded?"
