"Susan, you come here too!"
"Sydney, come here!"
"Ken..."
The rich ladies all followed suit, warning their children not to play with Aino anymore. But the children thought otherwise.
"Mommy, Aino didn't bring the snake here. The snake belonged to Carol." Mia said softly.
Carol nodded too. "Mom, the snake is mine. I love this toy snake! I had a deal with the kid downstairs and exchanged many of my toys for it. All the children in my class love it too, it's so fun!"
"Carol Long!" her mother shouted, wanting to give her a slap so badly. "You weren't like this before! You've become like a little barbarian after you started playing with Aino! Throw the snake away!"
Carol started crying. Aino stood beside her mother, raised her head and looked at Sabrina. "Mommy, I want to go home."
Aino was an observant child, she could tell everyone was unhappy with her.
"Since you came, you can't leave without giving us something! Aino’s mom, since you belong to this group and you attended this party, you have to think o
f a way to solve the matter and to show your sincerity. Otherwise, you’re admitting that you're the same as those shallow, opportunistic women who bit off more than they can chew when they tried to enroll their children in our kindergarten! Your daughter will meet the same faith as her daughter, who is being chased out of the kindergarten!" Mia's mother said ferociously.
Aino hid behind her mother, terrified. Seeing her daughter like this plunged Sabrina into despair. She placed her clutch beside her, raised her hands and rolled up her sleeves.
Carol's mother immediately shrunk to the side in fear. "You...what are you doing! You want to hit me? If you dare hit me, I'll call the police!"
Seeing the other woman shrink in fright, Sabrina laughed coldly. She held her daughter's hand and walked out.
After a few steps, she turned back and glared coldly at the group of rich ladies. "My child didn't do anything wrong, I will never make her apologize! About the plan ...I came here today to tell all of you, I never found that lady to be at fault! Did she wrong any of you? Or get in your way? She paid for her child to attend kindergarten, what right do all of you have to stop her? You think your cliques and gangs are very noble? Your actions are uglier than anything I’ve ever seen, s o ugly I feel disgusted looking at the group of you! Allowing my child to mix around with the likes of you, I'm worried she'll learn all of your bad behavior!" 1
With that, she led Aino and continued their way out, ignoring the group of speechless ladies.
Both of them walked fast, knocking straight into someone’s chest the minute they walked out the door. The person they knocked into moaned in pain.
