Sabrina's phone was on silent.
At the moment, she was having a private conversation with the kindergarten chairwoman in her office.
Seeing the quiet but solemn looking woman in front of her, the chairwoman didn't dare say a word.
However, she had already decided to request for Sabrina to transfer her daughter to another kindergarten before they even met in the office.
After all, the video of her laying naked in the arms of a man would only taint the school’s reputation as well.
Yet, before she could speak, Sabrina beat her to it. " Chairwoman! I would like to have a word with you!"
"Oh!" The chairwoman smiled sarcastically. "Aino's mother, do you want to transfer your child to another kindergarten?"
"No!" She replied briefly.
The chairwoman was taken aback by her answer.
After getting her thoughts in order, she said bluntly," There's nothing to talk about. Aino’s mother, the school has no right to intervene in your personal matters, but we can choose our students. Go home and wait for our dismissal letter. I can allow the child to stay here for one more day, but today after school ends, you must leave and never come back!"
Despite the chairwoman's harsh words, Sabrina's tone remained calm. "Chairwoman, you’re not deaf, right?
"In case you are, let me repeat myself. I want to have a word with you, not about my child dropping out of school, but something else. If you don't have this conversation with me, you'll surely regret it in the future! I'll give you thirty seconds to decide." Sabrina's voice was steady, much like the calm sea before a storm, ominous but formidable.
The chairwoman started to feel nervous when she heard this, and managed to stutter, "Of...of course...we can talk...follow me to my office."
For a moment, she wondered if Sabrina had uncovered one of her secrets and was holding it against her.
As she went to shut the door and windows, her back was drenched in cold sweat.
