All these men that revolved around Sabrina had ruined Emma's plans.
Sebastian, in particular, saw through all her tactics.
Emma felt that she had failed at this moment. Her plans were in a mess, and she almost died.
She was a member of the Poole family, after all. They still held weight in Sebastian's eyes.
However, Emma did not know how her life was saved.
Sebastian answered a call from Alex Poole in the small banquet hall at that moment.
"Sebastian, my cousin would be willing to use two ships in exchange for his two daughters. This would b e a good deal. Of course, he was talking about his two warships. The two super-large ships that were specifically made to battle Camden City."
Sebastian's expression remained calm, "Emma and Autumn would stay here first. When the two ships are handed over to me, I will release his daughters immediately. Alex, you should tell your cousin that I let his two daughters off because I respect you. If it weren't for you, both of his daughters would be dead, and his two ships would also belong to me, Sebastian Ford. I would take them back regardless."
On the other end, Alex smiled and said, "I don’t care
how you would extort my cousin. I had no problem with it at all. All I cared about was my little nephew Ryan. Is he okay?"
Although Alex and Sebastian were as close as brothers, he was not completely confident that Sebastian would not hurt Ryan.
He was so close to Sebastian that he knew how cruel and vicious he could be. Sebastian had never dragged things out a moment longer than necessary.
On his end, Sebastian said gruffly, "Sabrina had already pleaded with me to show mercy on them. Otherwise, did you think your little nephew could walk out of here alive?"
"What did you say?!" Alex asked curiously, "Who, who pleaded for him? Was it Sabrina? Your leader for life?"
"Who else could it be?!" Sebastian said viciously.
"Sabrina, my sister-in-law, begged you for mercy, and you let all of your love rivals go. Hmm, let me see. Who were they? Let me make a wild guess, Nigel Conor would definitely be one of them. He had changed completely ever since Sabrina saved him six years ago. Although he remained childish as ever on the surface, he wasn't childish any longer, deep down."
"And the Shaw boy who was gentle as a warm summer breeze."
